Who is the bear witch?
I am Ashley, a spirit medium who first began sensing spirit and receiving intuitive impressions at around 13 years old.
My maternal grandparents were mediums and trance mediums. I have trained at the Arthur Findlay College and worked with tutors across the UK. I have appeared on television in the UK and demonstrated at events in the UK, online, and in the Netherlands.
I would describe myself as part spiritualist, part witchy, and part open-minded. I believe in the Divine Spirit, the connection to nature, and the quiet power that runs through both sunshine and rain, laughter and tears.
I never found a box that fitted me entirely, so I created my own. Welcome to The Bear Witch House, a place of spiritual comfort for friendly souls.

What you can expect from me
I listen more than I look
I’m clairaudient, so spirit mostly comes to me as sound and words. I’ll tell you what I hear as simply and honestly as I can, and I’ll say so when something isn’t clear.
The intelligence of spirit
I can’t choose who comes through, and I won’t pretend to. Spirit has its own intelligence and knows what is needed. My job is to keep the door open, gently and with respect.
No death, no harm
I never predict death or hurtful events. Spirit comes with love, and I’ll only pass on what is given for comfort, healing and growth.
Evidence first, then the message
The aim of every sitting is evidence you can recognise. Where there’s a message, it is for guidance and personal insight. You always make your own choices.
Platform Mediumship & Public Demonstration
Mediumship is a lifelong apprenticeship. In September 2026 I completed Developing Spirit’s course in Platform Mediumship and Public Demonstration.
The integrity of the work and respect for the spirit world always come first.
